Now up on the Events Calendar: Philadelphia Cartoonists, a collaboration between Sequential Philly and Kelly Writers House/Brodsky Gallery at UPenn!

“Co-organized with the comics project Sequential Philly, our newest Brodsky Gallery show features new work by six local cartoonists. For the show’s opening event, Sequential Philly will lead a panel discussion about comics with some of the artists. Comics by the cartoonists will be available for purchase.

Featured artists include Jaz Malone, Steve Teare, Corey Bechelli, Anna McGlynn, Derick Jones, and Anuj Shrestha. ”

After being attacked by a billy goat at a young age, Jaz decided that leaving her Detroit, MI home was for the best. She moved to Philadelphia, PA, where she received her BFA in Animation from The University of The Arts. She currently works in the tri-state area as a sequential artist, occasional animator, and tea enthusiast. She has yet to be attacked by another goat.
